Profile and experience

My name is Armando Corvini and I have been a qualified rock climbing, caving, trekking and mountaineering guide for over 20 years.

My passion for the outdoors began in Italy over 50+ years ago when I started rock climbing in the Dolomites in my early teens.

I love climbing in the Canberra region, however I have also rock climbed and mountaineered in many parts of the world including Australia, New Zealand, the Italian Dolomites, the Slovenian Alps and the Himalayas.

I have led trekking trips, and have had a number of successful mountaineering ascents including Mt Cook in New Zealand, and Pumori, Cholatse, Island Peak, Lobuche, Ama Dablam, Kyajo Ri and Mera Peak in the Himalayas.

I am:

  • Qualified outdoor instructor to level Cert 4
  • Qualified First Aid
  • Fully insured
  • Have a Working with Vulnerable People Registration

I love being outdoors with young, and not so young people!, having worked with numerous schools and colleges on camping, rock climbing, abseiling and caving trips throughout the Canberra region.

I am committed to providing a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience.
